Lucas
DevPowers was founded by Lucas and Beata. Lucas is the CTO: engineering and delivery are his. He has been a full-stack developer since 2003, he is the CTO and co-founder of Edukey, and he works as an enterprise AI trainer. He designs the stack, builds with AI agents every day, and reviews everything an agent produces before it reaches a client. Human review carries the responsibility, always.
Beata
Beata is the CEO: sales and client communication are hers. She is your human contact from the first written question, through the scope and the quote, to launch. Every offer and every sales message is approved by a human before it reaches you.
The split is deliberate. Lucas carries engineering and delivery. Beata carries sales and client communication. AI agents do the repetitive work in between - drafting, scaffolding, checking - and nothing goes out to a client unapproved. That is how a substantive reply can arrive within one business hour and still be a reply a human stands behind.

DevPowers is part of Edukey Sp. z o.o., a company operating since 2010. Edukey is a training and software company: it has delivered AI and IT courses to developers, managers and boards at some of Poland's largest companies, and it builds and runs its own software - the CMS, CRM and e-learning platform behind the training business were developed in-house.
Lucas co-founded Edukey in 2010 and is its CTO. DevPowers is where the group's two habits meet: building software, and teaching people to use it. That is why every DevPowers project ends with a live training session, a written playbook and a configured agent skill. Teaching clients is the group's original business, not an afterthought.

Lucas has been building for the web since 2003: more than 40 delivered websites and web applications, from static sites for small companies to e-commerce platforms, business systems and AI applications. The career runs through senior engineering roles at companies in Poland, Denmark and the United States, a CTO role at a 3D AI avatar startup in Porto, and the CTO seat at Edukey.
The work today is AI-first: coding agents in daily production use, RAG systems, voice AI, and the agentic workflow every DevPowers client receives at handover. Lucas also fine-tunes his own language and image models, and teaches other developers - and whole companies - to work the same way.

- 2003-2007 - Freelance web developer. Static and dynamic sites for small companies and organisations. The same kind of customers DevPowers serves today.
- 2007-2009 - PPC manager, Bluerank. Google Ads campaigns and landing-page work.
- 2009-2017 - Founder, TwojaEuropa.pl. A social platform for Europe-watchers and journalists, around 130,000 unique users a month. Custom PHP.
- 2010-2018 - CEO and co-founder, Edukey (IT training). Built the company's CRM, CMS, website and e-learning platform as product owner and co-developer.
- 2018-present - CTO and co-founder, Edukey. An AI-powered training platform: React, Next.js, PayloadCMS, MongoDB, AI integrations, fully automated CI/CD.
- 2018-2021 - Front-end developer, Roche (contract through Billennium). Business web applications and dashboards for global teams.
- 2020-2021 - Front-end developer, Sundose (health-tech startup). React applications, TypeScript, end-to-end tests with Cypress.
- 2021-2024 - Senior front-end engineer, The Wonderful Company (remote, Los Angeles). Four e-commerce applications and two shared UI component libraries.
- 2024-2025 - CTO and architect, 3D AI avatar startup (Porto). Digital humans with voice and animation running in the browser, built as solo developer.
- 2025 - Senior full-stack engineer, TODAY (AI startup, Denmark). An AI meeting assistant for financial advisers: desktop app, live transcription, summarisation, data extraction.
- 2025-present - AI trainer and consultant, Edukey and partner training companies. 400+ hours of live enterprise courses delivered.
Education and certifications: an MA in the sociology of the internet (University of Lodz), the postgraduate Startup Academy (Wroclaw University of Economics and Business), and certifications including Google Advertising Professional, Google Developers Launchpad, Microsoft Office Specialist and Prince2.

What is the legal entity behind DevPowers?
DevPowers operates as part of Edukey Sp. z o.o., a company operating since 2010. DevPowers is its web-delivery studio; training runs under the Edukey brand at edukey.ai.
Where is DevPowers based, and do you work internationally?
Yes. DevPowers is based in Porto, has a presence in Poland, and works internationally in English. The whole process is written and asynchronous, so distance and time zones do not change it.

What AI trainings do you offer?
Two main tracks. AI for developers: agentic coding with Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Zed and others across the whole software development lifecycle, plus building AI agents and apps (LangGraph, CopilotKit, AG-UI, RAG). Do you train remotely or on-site?
Mostly remotely - live, hands-on, and it works at distance. On-site is possible in Poland, Portugal and further afield when you need it; the quote simply includes transport and accommodation.
In which languages are the trainings?
Polish and English - both for live sessions and course materials.
How are the trainings personalized?
Before each course we research your company's domain, tech stack and real problems, then prepare custom materials and examples built on your own use cases - not generic slides. Participants leave with workflows they can apply the next day, and Lucas stays available for questions after the course.
How much does a training or consultation cost?
Every training offer is quoted individually - it depends on scope, group size, number of days, and remote versus on-site delivery. Write a few words about your team and goals, and you will get an offer back.
Do you help after the training too?
